For print shops in the network

MagicPrint. Orders print themselves

A small box you plug into a socket and pair with your printer. You confirm an order with one click – and by the time you walk to the printer, the prints are already waiting, collated and separated by a start page.

How MagicPrint works

  1. Plug in and pair

You plug the box into power, it connects to your network by itself, and in the dashboard you pair it with the code from the packaging. It takes a few minutes and needs no IT knowledge – everything comes preconfigured.

  2. Pick a printer and paper

MagicPrint finds printers on your network and over USB by itself and reports them to the dashboard. You choose which one it should print on and tick which paper you have in the tray – format, type and weight.

  3. Confirm the order – and it’s printed

Depending on the mode you choose, an order prints right after confirmation, only after payment, or only on your command. Each one starts with a start page carrying the order number and ends with an end page – nothing gets mixed up in the output tray.

What it looks after

It prints exactly what the customer ordered

Complete file settings. Number of copies, colour or black and white, single- or double-sided, pages per sheet and paper format – MagicPrint passes the printer exactly what the customer selected and paid for. No fiddling with driver settings for every order.

Paper under control. In the dashboard you specify which paper is in the tray. Orders for a different paper don’t print automatically – the file just gets flagged, and you print it manually once you’ve loaded the right one. Photos never land on office paper, and the printer never jams with a message that it’s missing A5.

You see the progress in the order. For each file you can track whether it’s printing or already done – the same overview the customer sees on the order page. And the box shows in the dashboard that it’s online and ready.

An outage loses nothing. If the internet happens to drop, orders wait on the box and print as soon as the connection is back. Nothing to babysit, nothing to restart.

What it costs

The first 10 print shops get a year for free

We’re just launching MagicPrint – and the first 10 print shops in the network get the box free for a whole year. We’ll prepare it, ship it and help with setup; in return, you help us with feedback from real-world use.

After that, MagicPrint will run on a small monthly subscription. We still take nothing from your orders.

FAQ

What printers ask

What printer do I need?
Practically any that a regular computer can drive – network printers and printers connected over USB. Modern printers MagicPrint understands out of the box, with no driver installation.
Does everything have to print automatically?
No, you choose the mode yourself: print right after order confirmation, only after payment, or manually only. And you can switch the printer off in the dashboard at any time with a single toggle.
What about special papers and formats?
In the dashboard you tick which paper is in the tray – format, type and weight. Orders for a different paper don’t print automatically: the file gets flagged and you print it manually on the right stock.
What if my internet or power goes out?
Nothing gets lost. Orders wait in the queue and print as soon as the box is back online. You see the status in the dashboard at a glance.
How do I get a box?
We’re just launching MagicPrint, and the first 10 print shops get it free for a year. Write to us at [email protected] and we’ll set it up – we’ll prepare the box for you and help with the connection.
