How it works

From files to finished prints. No printer at home

Drukolud connects customers with print and copy shops nearby. Each shop has its own price list, you choose by price and distance – and we don’t take a grosz of it.

Step by step

The whole thing takes a few minutes

No sign-up, no phone calls to print shops, no haggling over the price on the spot. You track your order through a link you get right after uploading your files.

~ 5 min

  1. Upload your files

PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and photos (JPG, PNG, GIF) – from your computer or phone, several at once if you like. We count the pages automatically.

  2. Choose how it should look

Format, paper, weight, colour, double-sided printing and number of copies. Settings apply to all files at once, but you can fine-tune each file separately – and use the note for things like binding requests.

  3. Compare print shops and pick one

We show you every print shop that can handle your job, with an exact price calculated from their price lists – sorted from the cheapest. You also pick how to collect: in person at the shop, at a parcel locker or by courier to your door.

  4. Place your order

No sign-up – just send it. You get a link with an access key that lets you track the job the whole way through: accepted, printing, ready for pickup.

  5. Collect and pay

The print shop confirms the job and prints it. You pay the shop directly at pickup – in cash or by bank transfer. No money goes through Drukolud, and we add no markup to the shops’ prices.

Fair prices

Why are prices different at every print shop?

Drukolud isn’t one big print shop – it’s a network of independent print and copy shops. Each sets its own price list: paper prices by format, type and weight, and printing prices by colour and double-sidedness. From these price lists we calculate your job’s price deterministically – the same files and the same settings always mean the same price, no “come in and we’ll see”.

That’s why comparing pays off: with multi-page documents, a few groszy per page adds up fast, and double-sided printing is often cheaper because the paper gets used on both sides. Prices in the shop list and on the map are always real prices from the price lists – and what you see before ordering is exactly what you pay on the spot.

Pickup and payment

In person, at a parcel locker or at home

In-person pickup is the fastest and free of charge – your job waits for you at the shop you chose. Delivery to a parcel locker or to your door by courier is offered by selected print shops; you see the price and expected number of days next to each option before you order, including same-day delivery at some shops.

You pay at pickup, directly to the print shop – in cash or by bank transfer. Drukolud doesn’t handle payments and takes no commission; the price you see next to a shop goes to that shop in full.

FAQ

Anything still unclear?

Do I need to sign up?
No. You create the order without an account – you get a link with an access key that lets you track and manage it. Save the link, it works like a key to your order.
How do I know my order is ready?
You can see the status on the order page at any time: awaiting confirmation, accepted, printing, ready for pickup. The print shop confirms each order manually, so you know someone is really on it.
What if the print shop rejects my order?
It can happen – for example when they’ve just run out of a special paper. You pay nothing (payment is at pickup), and your files stay uploaded, so you just pick another shop from the comparison.
How is the page count calculated?
For PDF files and Word documents we count it automatically after upload. For other formats you can adjust it manually in the file settings – the price recalculates instantly.
I need binding, trimming or something special
Write it in the note on your order or on a specific file – the print shop sees it before confirming and you arrange it directly. You’ll find the shop’s contact details on its page.
Can I print eco-friendly?
Yes – many print shops offer recycled paper; you’ll find it in the filters and in the print settings. Read more about eco-friendly printing.
